Rachel & Troy | November 2022 | Clevedon Hall
I am delighted to share Rachel and Troy’s beautiful winter wedding flowers at Clevedon Hall. A stunning blue and white colour palette with so much seasonal detail such as berries and seedheads. Here’s how I put together there gorgeous, relaxed and romantic floral designs.
Their Floral Style
Rachel and Troy had lovely ideas from the start. In the consultation they asked for informal, natural designs that had an elegant. feel to fit in with the beautiful surroundings at Clevedon Hall.
Together we decided on natural elegant bouquets for the Bride and bridesmaids. Informal boutonnieres for Troy and his ushers. For the ceremony I created a simple, elegant look with a natural cascading arrangement placed on the registrars table. This really set the scene for a wedding ceremony. I prettied up the mantlepieces and extra nooks with a selection of pretty bud vases. Along with styling from Hollyboo Events this created a beautiful, elegant feel to the ceremony.
I adore providing wedding flowers at Clevedon Hall. The reception was held in their stunning Orangery. Rachel and Troy went for some statement table centres. I created large arrangements placed on riser stands. They looked so elegant and filled the space beautifully.
The Mix of Blooms
I was so excited to be asked to provide wedding flowers for Rachel and Troy. I loved their ideas for the colour scheme and knew this would look so beautiful with the seasonal varieties that are available in November. Along with beautiful roses, delphiniums and hydrangea I used lots of seasonal touches to help give a winter feel to the designs. Viburnum berries, scabious seedheads and eryngium added lovely seasonal detail and texture. I used white Anemone and ranuculus as they created and elegant feel. I added lots of interesting winter foliages such as mimosa and berried ivy to give a wonderful natural shape.
