Beatifully informal, wild and elegant wedding flowers at Elmore Court. I am very happy to share Kate and Matt’s gorgeous wedding with you all. Full of lush late summer blooms, gorgeously wild little details and an incredible rich colour palette.
Their Floral Style
Kate and Matt wanted unique, seasonal flowers with an informal ‘thrown together’ feel. I just love the colour palette of rich reds, oranges and wine colours moving through to more delicate dusky pinks and lavender tones.
For Kate I created a gorgeous, untamed bouquet packed full of seasonal flowers, texture and wild little details. The bridesmaids had wild summer posies.
I created informal boutonnieres for Matt and his ushers. Such a lovely, unique, personal touch.
The venue decor featured lots of informally placed stems in bottles and foliage garlands along with beautiful pewends and urn arrangements for the ceremony.
The Mix of Stems
For Kate and Matt I wanted the designs to have a lovely full, abundant look so chose lots of round, large headed varieties such as the deep red dahlia and wild look roses. I added a touch of pretty with pale dusky lavender roses and wax flower. Beautiful, natural shapes were created with astilbe, snap dragons, eryngium, daucus carota, berried eucalyptus and beautiful Sanguisorba. Just perfect for wedding flowers at Elmore Court.
