Wildly Unique Wedding Florals
Beautiful, alternative wedding flowers. An unusual mix of varieties including stunning king protea. A gorgeous rich autumnal colour palette with deliciously dark berry tones and pale muted shades.
Their Floral Style
Heidi and Ross’s wedding was so fun to design. They wanted totally unruly designs with an alternative feel. I love the colour combo of subtle autumn tones with pops of gold, red and deep pink.
I created a beautifully wild bouquet for Heidi with lots of texture and seasonal flowers mixed with unusual blooms and foliage. The Bridesmaid had wild autumn posies with quirky accents. Beauuutiful flower crowns and mini posies for the flower girls (totally gorge – just wait till you see the pics)
Lovely seasonal boutonnieres for the chaps.
The venue decor featured large draping arrangements on tall gold stands, Posies in vintage bottles and the most awsome cake you have ever seen.
The Mix of Stems
I focused on foliage for the wedding with a lovely textural mix of mimosa, deep red smoke bush, eucalyptus and ferns. Kind protea was a stand out feature of the bridal and bridesmaids bouquets. I used beautiful red ranunculus, and gorgeous dark Black Baccara roses, lovely muted Mentha roses, eryngium and wax flowers for texture and prettiness.
I added interesting pops of colour with pink roses, ranunculus, and beautiful gold Kangaroo paw flower. I created lovely draping shapes with deeply dark amaranthus.
