Jess and James Orchardleigh New Years Eve
Elegant Winter Florals
Timeless winter whites. I am very happy to share with you this sophisticated winter wedding. Full of luxurious, seasonal blooms with an effortlessly beautiful, natural style.
Their Floral Style
Jess and James wanted classic, elegant flowers with a natural feel for their day. I worked together with the wonderful stylist Liz at Elizabeth Weddings. The simple ivory and white colour palette work so well for this style.
I created a luxurious bouquet for Jess filled with beauuutiful scented garden roses and seasonal seasonal winter flowers. With simple, elegant rose posies for the bridesmaids.
The chaps had classic white rose buttonholes with eucalyptus foliage for details.
I created lovely scented posies for the ceremony to tie to the pew ends with trailing ribbon. The registrars table was adorned with a lovely flowing, delicate arrangement.
For the reception I made high impact, luxurious table arrangements on tall vases filled with hydrangea, trailing foliage and seasonal flowers. I also made sweetheart chair-back designs for the bride and groom (Love these)
The Mix of Stems
I created the bridal designs with a luxurious but simple mix of scented garden roses, avalanche roses, spray roses, white ranunculus with astrantia and wax flower for detail. I mixed in beautiful delicate foliage such as senecio maritima for the lovely soft, pale grey-green colour and berried eucalyptus.
I wanted the large table arrangements and other venue designs to look full but still loose and natural so I used hydrangea mixed in with lots of draping foliage, spray roses, stocks and snap dragons.
