Bright and beautiful Summer wedding flowers at The Square Club. Full of fun, colour and seasonal summer blooms. I adored working on Laura and Liam’s wedding with them.
Relaxed Summer Wedding Flowers
Laura and Liam wanted an informal, relaxed feel to their wedding flowers with designs full of fun and colour. With the wedding date being in early July we had so many seasonal flowers to choose from. We chose a lovely blend of coral, peach, lavender, powder blue, pops of red and deep green foliage. When I am working with a bright colour palette I always mix in some pastel tones as this helps the brighter colours sing out
The personal flowers all had a lovely, whimsical feel. Laura’s bouquet was so abundant and joyful. I created it with a lovely natural, asymmetric shape. The maids held gorgeous summer posies. I created lovely, stylish boutonniere’s for the groom and groomsmen. These are perfect for a more informal wedding.
I always love providing wedding flowers at The Square Bar – the perfect venue for a relaxed city centre wedding. I created gorgeous trailing floral arrangement for the registrars table to add a lovely detail to the wedding ceremony. Beautiful, mixed informal bud vases were scattered on window sils and re-used on tables for the wedding breakfast
The Blooms
I wanted to create abundant designs yet with a relaxed and natural feel for Laura and Liam. So I used lots of seasonal beauties such as peonies, delphiniums and achillea. I added pops of colour with beautiful red spray roses, coral dahlia and bright blue nigella. Scabious and clematis added whimsical detail and movement to the designs.
