Polly and Nathan | Barley Wood House
A wonderfully informal wedding full of lovely personal touches. Beautiful, relaxed summer wedding flowers at Barley Wood House. Abundant designs full of seasonal summer flowers and luxurious garden roses.
Their Floral Style
I was truly honored to be asked to create florals for Polly and Nathan’s wedding day. They wanted elegant, sophisticated designs with an informal, thrown together feel. Together we came up with a beautiful blush, ivory and lavender colour palette.
I created gorgeous, loose, natural style bouquet for the Polly. Packed full of blush colour blooms. The bridesmaids had beautiful summer posies with lavender tones.
Boutonnieres for the boys and lovely ‘thrown together’ flowers for their reception at Barley Wood in Jam jars, bottles and demijohns,
The Mix of Stems
I used a lovely English Summer mix including White O’hara scented Garden roses, stocks, larkspur, campanula, astrantia, gorgeous frothy astilbe and delicate white scabious.
Polly requested that lavender and ferns were included in memory of her lovely mum and New Zealand. I included dried lavender and 3 types of fern in the final design which added such a beautifully unique and personal touch.
