For Helen and Aarons April wedding, the vision was understated, elegant and full of thoughtful detail. A soft palette of whites and neutrals allowed the beauty of the flowers to shine, while abundant floral designs created a warm inviting atmosphere throughout the day.

Helen & Aaron’s vision for their St Audries Park wedding flowers
From our very first conversation, it was clear that Helen and Aaron wanted their wedding flowers to feel romantic, elegant and effortlessly beautiful. Rather than making a statement through bold colours, they were drawn to a softer, more understated aesthetic that would complement both the season and the timeless surroundings of St Audries Park.
Their chosen colour palette of white, creams and soft neutral tones created a refined backdrop for the floral designs, allowing texture, movement and delicate seasonal details to take centre stage. The overall look was inspired by an English garden in sping – natural, abundant and filled with subtle layers of interest.
a key priority for the couple was creating a warm inviting atmosphere for their guests throughout the day. We Achieved this through generous floral designs that felt personal, natural and considered, from ceremony meadows, staircase flowers to the elegant table centres and personal bouquets.
Rather than relying on colour for impact, the designs used abundance, scale and beautiful seasonal blooms to create a sense of occasion. The result was a collection of floral designs that felt both romantic and understated and full of delicate detail.
Every element worked together to enhance the beauty of the venue and create a cohesive, memorable experience for the couple and their guests.
Romantic Spring wedding bouquets filled with seasonal detail
One of my favourite parts of Helen and Aaron’s wedding flowers was the wedding bouquets. Designed in a soft, natural style, they perfectly reflected the overall feel of the day – romantic, understated and full of beautiful spring detail.
Helens bridal bouquet
Helen carried a loose, garden-inspired bouquet with plenty of movement and a naturally gathered feel. The design featured some of springs most beautiful flowers, including ranunculus, butterfly ranunculus, sweet peas and garden roses, all chosed for their delicate textures, airy movement and soft romantic character.
Rather than being tightly arranged, the bouquet was designed to feel airy and effortless, with each flower contributing its own shape and personality. The combination of ruffled petals, delicate blossom-like details and gentle movement created a bouquet that felt full of interest while remaining elegant and refined.
Spring bridesmaids bouquets
The bridesmaids carried smaller bouquets inspired by Helen design, creating a cohesive look across the bridal party while allowing each bouquet to have it’s own natural character.
Using the same seasonal flowers and delicate textures, the bouquets echoed the romantic, garden-inspired style of the bridal bouquet. The result was soft, elegant and delicate, complementing the bridesmaids dresses while tying seamlessly into the wider floral designs throughout the wedding day.
Spring boutonnieres
Alongside the larger floral installations, the personal flowers helped bring the whole design together. The groom’s boutonniere and those for the groomsmen featured carefully selected spring blooms and textural details that complemented the bridal flowers perfectly.
Small in scale but full of detail, these finishing touches added to the cohesive feel of the day and ensured every member of the wedding party felt connected to the overall floral design.
Ceremony flowers at St Audries Park
Helen and Aaron chose to hold their ceremony in the beautiful church within the grounds of St Audries Park, and the flowers were designed to enhance the character of the space while keeping the overall look natural and understated.
Two meadow-style arrangments framed the entrance of the church, creating a welcoming first impression for guests as they arrived. Filled with delicate spring flowers and soft textures, they introduced the romantic garden-inspired feel that ran througout the wedding day.
Inside the church, hand-tied pew ends lined the aisle, adding subtle floral detail and helping create a sense of occasion without overwhelming the space. Together, the meadows and pew flowers brough softness and warmth to the church, complementing the couples neutral palette and relaxed, elegant style perfectly.
These designs were repurposed within the venue adding detail to the wedding breakfast room at St Audries Park.
A statement floral staircase installation
One of the standout floral moments of the day was the staircase installation at St Audries Park. the grand staircase is already a beautiful feature of the venue, and flowers provided the perfect way to enhance it while styaing true to the couples understated style.
Using soft spring blooms and plenty of delicate texture, the design was created to feel as though it had naturally grown its way up the staircase. The flowers were abundant enough to make an impact, while still feeling elegant, relaxed and in keeping with the rest of the wedding design.
It became a real focal point throughout the day, welcoming everyone into the venue and providing a beautiful backdrop for photographs and creating a wonderful memory for the couple and their guests.
Elegant wedding table centrepieces
Reception styling
The reception flowers continued the romantic garden-inspired feel of the day, with elegant centrepieces arranged in low glass footed bowls. Filled with soft spring blooms and delicate textures, they brought a sense of abundance to each table while still allowing guests to easily chat across them.
For Helen and Aaron’s sweetheart table, a flowing floral arrangement created a beautiful focal point, tying the reception styling together. To make the most of the flowers throughout the day, the ceremony meadows were repurposed in front of the table, while the pew-end flowers were displayed in small bud vases along the mantelpiece.
Together, these floral touches helped create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for guests and ensured the flowers could be enjoyed throughout every part of the celebration.

The flowers were designed to sit comfortably within this setting rather than compete with it—enhancing the architecture of the house and church, and feeling like a natural extension of the landscape. It’s one of those venues where spring flowers just make complete sense, which is why April weddings here are always so inspiring.
