Elisa and James | Kingscote Barn | September 2019
I am delighted to share these wonderful wedding flowers at Kingscote Barn. Elisa and James wanted a beautifully unique mix of blooms with an incredible rose gold, dusty pink and wine red colour palette. I loved designing their beautiful wedding and am so excited to share it with you. There is a ceremonial, flower adorned tipi!!
Their Floral Style
Elisa and James wanted laidback, unique, boho florals for their day. We talked about using pampas grass as a feature, statement tropical foliage and mixing it with seasonal flowers, muted colours with a hint of deep red coming through.
I created a gloriously wild and unique, unruly bouquet for Elisa and natural, seasonal posies for her bridesmaids. A floral dog collar for their pooch which I think is the coolest thing I have ever made!
Lauradana at Wedding Creations provided the wonderful styling. She created a beautiful tipi structure for the ceremony which I covered with mix of lovely, interesting foliage, seasonal flowers, roses and pampas grass
The tables at the wedding were filled with a simple, informal mix of stems in bottles and bud vases. I love this look on long banquet style tables. Especially with candle sticks placed in between.
I made a statement garland for the gallery of delicately draping foliage and pampas grass
The Mix of Stems
I created the designs with a sophisticated, muted mix of blooms including beautiful quicksand roses, astilbe, burgundy snap dragons, peach coloured stocks, astrantia, hydrangea and wax flower for detail.
Pampas grass was a stand out feature of the designs.
An unusual mix of foliage brought everything together including mimosa, rosemary, eucalyptus, boston fern (Love these little guys) and incredible monstera leaves.
