Today I would love to share Kez and Pete’s beautiful and romantic summer wedding flowers at Walton Castle. summer garden inspired floral designs created with mix of dilecatable high summer flowers. The floral designs had natural, elegant and romantic style. I simply adored working with this lovely couple for their gorgeous day.
Their Floral Style
Kez and Pete were clear they wanted summer garden inspired designs. I worked with them to chooses elegant, natural floral displays to really add a beautiful and emotive touch to their day. They wanted abundant displays for their church ceremony that could be re-purposed for their venue decor. The result was simply beautiful.
Personal Flowers
We discussed natural, romantic floral designs for the bouquets and buttonholes. They were as if they had been scooped from an English country garden. I created an abundant whimsical bridal bouquet for Kez with beautiful informal shape. I am always more than happy to personalise your wedding flowers in any way. Kez’s bouquet was wrapped with her family tartan which she sent to me ahead of the wedding day. The Bridesmaids carried with garden stylel posies. I also created Informal boutonnieres for Pete his ushers.
Wedding Ceremony Flowers
For their ceremony I created an abundant urn arrangement in luxurious summer garden flowers. I gave the ceremony a beautiful back drop by adding natural, whimsical arrangements to the Choir Rood Screen within the church. The aisle was decorated with hand tied posies and trailing ribbon and the result was simple but breath-taking.
The Flowers
I loved putting together the mix of blooms for this lovely wedding. This was a wonderful combination of garden flowers such as delphiniums and scabious. I was able to include locally grown blooms in the designs. This colour palette was incredibly pretty with a mix of pastel blue, lavender and blush tones. Beautiful garden roses, and delphiniums gave an abundant luxurious feeI to the wedding flowers . I added beautiful seasonal detail with scabious, and achillea. Spray roses, astrantia created and elegant feel. clematis and beautiful summer foliage to created a wonderful informal shape to the designs.
