I am delighted to share Grace and Tim’s beautifully Chic summer wedding flowers at Wellington Barn. Full of gorgeous summer blooms and beautiful emotive pictures from Ana Parker Photography. Their Floral Style
I loved working with Grace and Tim on their wedding flowers. They wanted stylish, relaxed flowers to really add a beautiful, personal touch to their day. We talked about elegant floral designs, with a neutral, soft pink and ivory colour palette.
Personal Flowers
Grace particularly wanted whimsical, natural bridal bouquet. I was very excited about this as I adore creating these for my clients. They are a wonderful way to add your personal style on your day and always look so stunning in your wedding photos! We discussed natural, whimsical florals with a relaxed feel. I created an elegant, chic bridal bouquet for Grace with a beautiful organic shape with smaller posies for her bridesmaids. An informal boutonniere for Tim and classic white rose buttonholes his ushers.
Wedding Ceremony Flowers
The couple married in the beautiful ancient church on the estate of Wellington Barn. It’s a small space so we decided to simply ‘pretty up’ the aisle with some beautiful pew end posies with trailing ribbon.
Wedding Reception Flowers
I created simple vases of seasonal flowers for the tables. This is such a chic and simple way to add a personal touch beautiful detail to your wedding breakfast.
I created a low cascading floral arrangement covering the length the top table. Full of beautiful summer flowers this really created a wow factor and a beautiful stylish design for the wedding reception. All the designs were created using sustainable floristry techniques.
The Flowers
I loved putting together the mix of blooms for this lovely wedding. With it being the height of summer there was an abundance of flowers to choose from. I am lucky enough to be near many talented flower growers. I was able to use lots of beautiful British grown flowers for this wedding. We chose a lovely neutral mix with soft pinks, ivory and beautiful greens in the foliage. Beautiful garden roses and dahlias gave an abundant luxurious feeI to the bridal flowers . I added beautiful summer detail with lisianthus, achillea and snapdragons. I added that whimsical feel with scabious and beautiful foliage to give a wonderful natural shape.
